Ahhh, finally, a “big” city and decent highways with limited roundabouts! If we had to live in New Zealand, we would probably live here, along with ¼ of the country’s population. With all the amenities of a city, the beach and natural landscape are not more than 30 minutes drive away – we would write about “things to do”, but to be honest, we were exhausted, found some free high speed internet at the local library and didn’t leave for 3 days! We enjoyed our few tranquil days here before we embarked on the next leg of our journey, kissed our kick ass campervan goodbye and reflected on the fantastic adventures we have had in the southern hemisphere. Sweet as, mates!
