Dubai | UAE :: Land of a Thousand Lights

Although we have been to Dubai numerous times, we still enjoy the occasional lively ‘city’ feel and love to hang out with family and friends each time that we are there.  Manali’s brother, Kunal, was on a work assignment, so we decided to go visit on a free weekend.

Even though it’s slightly cheesy, you still have explore the desert in Dubai once you are tired of the malls and endless shopping. You can experience camel riding, sand boarding, henna painting, belly dancing and an Arabian feast like no other.  We opted for the “Sundowner” tour with Arabian Adventures and had a blast!

  1. Awesome Dubai!
It's also a great staring point for exploring the nearby cities and countries: Doha (Qatar), Muscat (Oman), but one can also check out Abu Dhabi… try some dune bashing in the desert with a 4×4 car.

  2. Excellent photos… Wish you could provide some real MUST DO things in Dubai which could help some first time traveler like me. 🙂 Keep the magic going…
